Local Projects

We collaborate with the Chula Vista Elementary School District to support an increasing number of homeless students and their families. Our program provides gift cards for groceries, clothing, and essential school supplies to help these students thrive academically and alleviate hardships for their families.

We are committed to empowering the next generation in our community through education. Each year, we offer scholarships to deserving students from local high schools, helping them achieve their academic and career goals. These scholarships provide financial assistance to students who have demonstrated excellence in their studies or need additional support to pursue higher education.

Every month, members of the Chula Vista Woman's Club gather to create decorative placemats for Meals on Wheels, brightening the days of homebound seniors. These placemats not only enhance their mealtime experience but also serve as cheerful home decorations. Many seniors, living alone, deeply appreciate these gestures of care.

The Closet originated from the compassionate vision of one of our dedicated members, Susan, who saw a pressing need to assist local families. Her idea was simple yet powerful: create a place where families in need could access clothing at no cost. Thanks to her efforts and vision, The Closet has not only become a reality but has exceeded all expectations.

The Chula Vista Woman's Club is committed to enhancing the lives of veterans and their spouses at the Chula Vista Veterans Home. Our contributions, including monetary donations and essential items, directly support programs designed to improve the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our veterans.
